To be sung before and after meat. (Meat is used here in the older, general meaning of “food”)
Be present at our table, Lord,
Be here and every where adored;
These mercies bless, and grant that we
May feast in Paradise with Thee.
We thank Thee, Lord, for this our food,
For life, and health, and every good:
Let manna to our souls be given,–
The Bread of Life sent down from heaven.
From its position in the hymnal, I believe this is to be sung to the tune “Old Hundred” from yesterday.~~TSG
